Years have been spent at the drawing board and at Rodeos developing and testing Aussie Grip Bull  Ropes, to provide Bull Riders with a product that could reduce riders being hung up. 

. 

In the past six years this Bull Rope has been around Australia twice. The Aussie Grip  has been in the US for the past three years and is now in Canada. Testing  Aussie Grip was achieved with the help of  bull riders and Rodeo Associations

 

Some say it's just bad  luck being hung up! Well some Bull Riders have decided to change their luck

Aussie Grip Bull Ropes has generated a great deal of interest in Australia. This bull rope has been endorsed by The National Rodeo Council of Australia as part of their national safety equipment program, designed to improve the safety for Rodeo competitors. The National Rodeo Council of Australia and it’s Associations members carry out testing on all safety equipment including our bull rope before endorsements were granted.

 

Dr. John Schneider presented a paper titled INJURY PREVENTION IN BULL RIDERS USING ERGONOMIC PRINCIPLES AND INNOVATIVE DESIGN at the PACRIM 2001 International Conference in Cairns Australia.  Dr. John Schneider is a Specialist in Occupational Medicine at Occhealth Services Mackay, and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine, James Cook University. In his paper the Aussie Grip Bull Ropes was known as the easy rider Bull Rope.   

 

In the beginning Aussie Grip Bull Ropes was referred to as the Easy Rider Bull Rope however in the US and Canada riders called it the Aussie Bull Rope.  Therefore the change of name was deemed necessary as it was the more popular choice by the riders.

The National Rodeo Association of Australia gave permission on 6th of February 1998 for competitors to use the Aussie Grip Bull Ropes. 

 

Congratulations have come from many areas, including  the Australian Minister for Sport and Tourism.  Occupational Medicine Specialist, Bull riders, Clowns.
 

Aussie Grip received worldwide coverage through the Discovery Channel. The Aussie Grip Bull Ropes is patent in several countries including the US.
