Aussie
Grip Bull Ropes has generated a great deal of
interest in Australia. This bull rope has been
endorsed by The National Rodeo Council of Australia
as part of their national safety equipment program,
designed to improve the safety for Rodeo
competitors. The National Rodeo Council of Australia
and it’s Associations members carry out testing on
all safety equipment including our bull rope before
endorsements were granted.

John Schneider presented a paper titled INJURY PREVENTION IN BULL RIDERS USING ERGONOMIC PRINCIPLES AND
INNOVATIVE DESIGN at
the PACRIM 2001 International Conference in Cairns
Australia.
Dr. John Schneider
is a Specialist in Occupational Medicine at
Occhealth Services Mackay, and an Honorary Senior
Lecturer at the School of Medicine, James Cook
University. In his paper the Aussie Grip Bull
Ropes was known as the easy rider Bull Rope.

In
the beginning Aussie Grip Bull Ropes was referred to
as the Easy Rider Bull Rope however in the US and
Canada riders called it the Aussie Bull Rope.
Therefore the change of name was deemed
necessary as it was the more popular choice by the
riders.
The National Rodeo Association of Australia gave permission on 6th of
February 1998 for competitors to use the Aussie Grip Bull Ropes.
